The raw food diet is quite amazing. I first found out about it via books by people like Dr Bernard Jensen and Dr Richard Anderson. Then when I went to Vancouver I met Sam Abzaraky, a raw food bodybuilder (and huge hunky dude!). I spent about a year on a 100% raw diet using the 80/10/10 diet by Dr Doug Graham. It was blissful! My sporting performance was incredible and I was training for international competition when one day I dislocated my knee!
The only downside to raw was that I have to attend lots of functions for business where people often like to eat and drink. So eventually I started eating cooked again and having had to cut back on my training due to injury the weight just piled on. I've now gone to back to being majority raw and I'm training most days and the weight is shifting but I really miss those 100% raw days... up at 6am and jogging the park.... work all day with no afternoon lapse and great attention... take an exercise class in the evening... energy left over afterwards for study or romance... I can't tell you how much having that abundance of energy changes your life, you have to try it for yourself! Just be aware that life will never be the same again ;)

Hi there you 2. Best wishes to you and your families, and may 2011 be a beautiful year filled with love, health and sucess. I am so exited,i belive that my body and health is the best gift i could ever give to myself.
Just curious if there will be a FAME Prairies event in 2011?? I can't seem to find any information on it, if you could help out that would be much appreciated!!
Hey, yep, my goal is to compete at UK Fame 2011. I suffered a brain haemorrhage in June this year and have been working my butt off to get back into shape! initially i was paralysed down my left side and could not even get out of my hospital bed, to cut a HUGE story short, I am now running up to 25 miles per week and adapt many exercise techniques and principles to training at home. I am a fully qualified PT and utilise all the knowledge I have gained over 12 years in the industry. My goal is to hit the fitness model or muscle category and display my physique that I came so very close to losing altogether. It is and has been the most difficult and heart wrenching 6 months and i just wanna show that I can come out the other side in fantastic physical condition!!

I competed in October 2009 in a natural contest sponsored by OCB (Organization of Competetive Bodybuilders) in Pittsburgh PA. I didn't have a chance to enter this year's contest..
