Being able to find something that you like about getting/staying healthy and fit. Have a workout partner or more, having a great support system, stepping up on your own, finding healthier foods that you will actually eat.

As an owner and trainer of Fuller Fitness and someone who cares I wish that people focused on the way that they feel about themselves more than how other people feel about them. If you do not like yourself the feelings of others will never matter as much as some may think if at all.
When you are not wearing clothes that you think will impress others how do you feel when you are alone, undressed compared to how you feel around others.

Whether you are by yourself or with 1 or more people start a program that works for you. Make changes as needed and keep going.
I love workouts when I can do multiple exercises with my own body weight but I lift weights as well. I enjoy challenging my mind and body every chance I get. Sometimes I focus on speed, heavy, max reps, in or outdoors.
What have you started with?
There are many benefits to working out. One of them is feeling better. Instead of fighting, arguing, speeding in your car, etc, go to the gym, find a hill to do sprints, boxing and more. Under used by too many.
Let's use fitness more. You may not feel like going but you feel so much better when you are done.
