My "Proud ME" Story:

I have always been the "crazy girl" that will try anything! At the young age of 19 entered a Budweiser contest and became a "Bud" girl for the Molsen Indy in Vancouver...At the young age of 19, I could party all night, work hard and never lifted a weight. Needless to say after two kids and many years later, realized that it is NO LONGER possible! I have always been self concious in a bathing suit and one day finally made up my mind to CHANGE! Two great influences in my life showed me that it was possible to change. (Carla Temple and Marlon Berconski) After my second baby I have found it even harder to get where I need to be - but thanks to my dear friend Claudia...I have decided to not give up! I am going to work harder than ever and prove to MYSELF tht I can do anything I want!

My Body Proud Moments

Pretty much anything! Dieting help for sure...specifically before the show...
Routines, stage presence, costumes etc....I have never done this!

There is always "something else" we could be doing - you just HAVE TO MAKE TIME to work out...no excuses!

It's OK to cheat! (I am talking about food!) LOL

Talents I Wish to Hone.

Teaching bootcamp outside at 6am during the winter in RAINY DARK Vancouver weather! Laying in puddles with rain pelting on my face doing crunches and leg lifts until I couldn't breath - INSPIRING my class of 15-25 students. Before having baby Phoenix - lost 17 pounds of fat and put on loads of muscle doing crazy overload training with my friend Carole and trainer Marlon. I swear I have muscle now that I will never lose! (not to mention living on 1200 calories a dayfor 4-months)

My Passion Project:

*37 years old
*Mom of two boys - 13 and 20 months old
*Married for 7 years
*Certified Group Fitness Instructor for one year before baby #2 - was teaching "Cardio Core Bootcamp" 11 classes a week. LOVED IT!
*Work in the naturopathic medical field
*Finishing by bachelor's in Health Science
*Applying to nursing school in 2012

So happy to be part of the team...Look forward to inspiring and being inspired. I need help with my thoughts/insecurities...I need motivation from others in similar situations so that I can be the best I can be. Have to stop doubting myself!!!!!!!!!
