I enjoy the outdoors very much. I find the wonders of nature to be a solace in my life. I believe that surrounding yourself with positivity and beauty are key to a happy life and can lead to a greater self knowledge. I enjoy camping, hiking or just plain backyard barbequing. Training has also become a very important peice to my life. I use it not only to better myself but to set an example to my son of how important it is to love yourself and take care of your mind and body.

My Transformation Experiences: (start point / obstacles / milestones / triumphs)
I began my jouney in November. I had gained some weight over the previous summer and had not yet even lost my weight from my baby 4 years prior. My best friend had been actively losing weight over the passed few years and had mentioned to me she wanted to enter a fitness competition as motivation to achieve her long running goals. I was inspired by her drive and joined in the fitness journey out of support to her and motivation of my own. Along my `road to fame` (as we`ve been calling it) I have had numerous self discoveries. I have learned to love myself, become aware of myself, never to underestimate myself, and simply to curb my bad habits. I have also learned the importance of living by example and to always assist the people around you to feel the same. I am currently 23LBS down from my starting point and have lost a total of 14.5 inches over my entire body. But my physical appearence has only been a reflection of my internal change.
Skills I Want to Learn // Experiences I Want to Experience // Talents I Want to Hone:
I have learned a wonderful lesson so far on this journey to a new lifestyle. The lesson is one I will never forget and has certainly changed the way I view my challenges. I have learned that the things I once viewed as impossible are infact very attainable. What this means for me is that I must expand my realm of possiblities and allow new challenges into my life. I have the desire to challenge my mental and spiritual being through my physical self.
In becoming the ME i desire to be, I Dare myself to master my empowerment in the following ways AND here is why:
Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power.
I know this may be repetative but the greatest lesson that I have learned is that my physical training is a doorway into my mind and spirit.

My Message to You (and all those who relate to ME and my Story)
Every workout has been a challenge. I have a wonderful trainer whose unique style has never left me bored or unchallenged. However, some of my more proud moments have been the simple things like pushing myself to hold that horse stance for another 45 seconds, or to do ten more leg raises when I thought it wasn`t possible. Or some days my most proud moments were making it through the doors of the gym because I just couldn`t seem to get motivated to be there.
