MASTERS, GRANDMASTERS & SUPER GRANDMASTERS ATHLETES

COMPETITION INFORMATION FOR MASTERS ATHLETES

Individuals who are over a certain age have the opportunity to compete in Age Category divisions to be amongst other athletes of their own age. They are also able to compete in the Experience divisions and compete where there are no age restrictions.

Categories with a Masters Class:
Fitness Model - Females Only
Figure - Physique - Females Only
Natural Bodybuilding - Males & Females, Select shows also have Grandmasters & Super Grandmasters.
Fit Duos & Toned Twosomes - there is no 'Masters Class' however it's open to anyone!

As the Masters category is quickly increasing in numbers, we forsee introducing a large Masters Pro Division in the near future. We are so proud of our adult and senior athletes. They truly inspire body proud.

To secure Pro Status, masters athletes who win their show must demonstrate that they exemplify 'Body Proud'.

Eligibility
To be eligible you must be of the following age:

Masters - females 35+ // males 40 +
Grandmasters - females 45 + // males 50 +
Super Grandmasters - females 55 + // males 60 +

All FAME World Tour competitions follow the Drug Testing guidelines set out by the World Natural Sports Organization (WNSO) to encourage a Natural stage and create an even playing field.

This was from the above written info on Competing, what if you have to take medication for an illness, permanent, or the Challenged, I wonder if a Physically Challenged man with other probelms can compete in Grandmasters etc under those guidelines????

A major new documentary series for the BBC is looking for active seniors who are dedicated to a healthy Body Proud lifestyle. Ideally they should have competed and work as a personal trainer. They would have to be a real force of personality – a real leader – and totally dedicated to the challenge of taking on the task to train seniors new to the scene.

This show is being produced by the Emmy Award winning TV Production Company, Betty.

We have gotten some requests to have Masters divisions at the Lone Star. In order to have these divisions, we need to find out if there is enough interest.

If you are a masters competitor and seriously considering competing at the Lone Star, please email me your name and category so I can keep track of interested competitors and make a decision.
