WANT TO COMPETE?
The FAME World Tour is open to Individuals of All ages; All levels - first timers to Pros (see Tier System); and to Athletes from all recognized organizations from around the world.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS

1. Become Familiar with the Natural Requirements

The FAME World Tour follows World Natural Sports Organization (WNSO) sanction. As such all athletes must follow its Drug Testing policies.

2. Determine your Body Proud Goals

Being body proud is very individual, specific to your personal preferences and desires.
~ Visualize your most body proud physique, the type of physique you want to showcase or attain.
~ Determine your personal goals - ie do you want to be featured in magazines? exemplify health? become a role model? inspire others? gain confidence? brand yourself? get exposure? build your name? get discovered? prove you can do it? market your products or service? feel better about yourself? enjoy the challenge? etc.
~ Think about your talents - are you able to incorporate them into a theme or routine to assist with overall creativity, entertainment, artistry?

3. Choose Your Category(ies):

There is a category suitable for all body proud physiques ranging from beach bodies to chiseled artistic muscle. Some categories have routines and/or posing while others do not. Choose the category(ies) that best suits your goals, talents and physique. If you're unsure you may compete in more than one and/or apply for guidance from an expert within the organization. For more info click here for full descriptions and Category Comparison. Below is a brief overview of the category options.

Physique Competitions // Model Search: (Relaxed stances; must show personality)
* Swimsuit Model - beach bodies (female)
* Fitness Model - toned & fit (male & female)
* Muscle Model - muscled with mass (male & female)
* Toned Twosome - fit &/or muscled (mixed or single gender)

Once you determine the category(ies) that most interest you, add yourself to that group (top right) so that you are kept updated with everything. Category Groups

4. Determine your Level

If you have never competed you must enter into either the Novice category or by Age. For those who have competed in other organizations, you can apply to bypass the Novice or Advanced Categories. More details on the Tier System - click here.

5. Start your Journey!!

Register Early

* Select your competition NOW.
* See FAME World Tour competition dates here.
* Regional shows lead into National shows and then International shows and Championships... So join us on the Tour and register to compete in multiple events!
* Be sure to add yourself to each event (top right of the event page) to ensure you are a part of all event discussions.

There are benefits to registering early. One, you save $$ on the registration fees (they increase as the competition date approaches) and hotel fees (there are only a limited number of rooms blocked). Knowing you are registered cements it in your head ensuring you stay focused and achieve your goals. :-)

My question is I have never competed in a fame show, but competed in other shows in the open mens catagories, placeing 2nd and 4th places, where would that put me in your ranks? What do you mean by competeing at advanced levels (pro or national quilifier)? I am all new to this fame competitions, would like to try one out soon.

Hi Jerry. You would send us an email with some photos and the number of competitors in your division and your placing. Based on that you would either be able to register in Level 2 or 3.

When you win level 3 you advance to the Pro Class. Placing well in Level 3 allows you to compete as an Elite athlete.

Excited to have you compete with us.

I have Never Competed for any body building show nothing. So i would be taking an online course because there is nothing near me? I am trying to gettn ready for the texas event if i get am ddone soon i will be ready not sure yet.

Hey Frankie,

Yes, it seems like the online course would be your best bet to teach you the essentials of competition.

The FAME Lonestar is going to be a really fun competition, hosted by two FAME Pros, Kai & Jason Powell!

Oh Ok thank you for the reply I REALLY APPRECIATE IT:)

I am new to the fame stuff and would like to compete. I have only done fitness modeling so I would need to attend the camp and was wondering if there are any camps in Texas?

I am interesting in getting involved and competing as a novice in the Philippines (closest for me) and I read through most of the site and what I understand is that I need to attend a FAME camp or a virtual Famecamp first. I've been trying to get onto the vrtual fame camp site and I keep getting to a page that has a list of links...How do I register for the online fame camp?
Another question: What are the strength moves required for the figure routine round? Is the routine round in the Figure division more like a bodybuilding routine or Fitness routine in the other organizations?

Reply to This

Hi Ciliaris,

Great to have you on board for FAME Philippines! :-)

Now to answer your questions:

* The online camp has now been replaced with virtual consultations and guidance (see # 3). Athletes will benefit more from this option as it is much more individualized.

* There are no specific required moves for the Figure Routine round. It is up to you what you want to present. If you can do more complex strength moves that look easy then go for those, otherwise stick with more basic one - the key is you want them to look effortless!

* The routine round is your option. Props are allowed so you can be very creative. You can use all the elements of Fitness, however you are not permitted to do any inverted moves such as flips. Similar to bodybuilding, you should be showcasing your physique by way of poses (can be creative with them).

Enjoy your training! Excited to have you compete with us!

My question is related to that of ciliaris's. Is a FAME camp (or the consultations) mandatory to compete at the novice level or is it possible to be a walk-in competitor? Or to avoid complications, could I just respond to the rsvp of the comp I want to attend and register? It so happened that when I checked recently, the camp was already finished and it's sort of impractical for me to go abroad just to attend another. Thanks.
